Stonehenge Capital Closes Renewable Energy Tax Equity Fund

BATON ROUGE, La.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Stonehenge Capital, a leading national tax credit syndicator, announced today the closing of its latest renewable energy tax equity fund, dedicated to providing efficient capital to renewable energy projects across the country. The nine-figure fund is Stonehenge’s 21st tax equity fund and its first multi-project, multi-investor Investment Tax Credit (ITC) tax equity fund.

The fund’s investors are comprised of major national insurance companies with substantial experience in the tax equity space. Stonehenge is currently seeking solar projects or solar projects with co-located battery energy storage systems in excess of 50 MW that are generating 2025 investment tax credits. Stonehenge anticipates launching its 2026 vintage multi-investor tax equity fund in the second quarter of 2025.

“The successful closing of this fund marks an important milestone for Stonehenge — with more than 20 funds our record of success is one we are tremendously proud of,” said Whitney LaNasa, Senior Managing Director at Stonehenge Capital. “We believe this will be the first of many multi-investor ITC funds that will allow us to fill a gap in the tax equity market, while providing fund investors diversification and compelling risk-adjusted returns.”

Stonehenge is a market leader in federal tax equity, transferable investment and production tax credits and has successfully provided projects with single and multi-year taxpayer commitments approaching $2 billion.
