TotalEnergies announces 13th Month salary to all of its employees worldwide

TotalEnergies met on October 12 with the representative trade union organizations at the edge of the Common Social Base in France and reiterated its desire to enter into peaceful wage negotiations with them. During these meetings, Management addressed both the issue of 2023 salary increases as well as that of value sharing given the excellent 2022 results.

We note this morning the lack of progress on the release of shipments to depots and refineries despite the opening that we made yesterday during the meeting with the CGT delegation since the Company had proposed to no longer raise of the strike in the refineries a condition for the launch of negotiations, but only the lifting of the blocking of shipments in order to be able to supply the stations from stocks in the interest of the French.

We regret it, but we note that the conditions are not met to organize the negotiation between all the representative organizations, the CGT having decided to maintain the blockages.

TotalEnergies says it informed the trade unions it met yesterday that it was willing to consider a budget for 2023 wage increases based on 2022 inflation.

In addition, we are assuming our responsibilities in terms of value sharing by announcing the allocation to all of our employees worldwide of an exceptional bonus corresponding to one month’s salary which will be paid in December, subject to wage agreements in the various countries and subsidiaries concerned. The exceptional bonus, which will be capped for high salaries, will be paid to employees of all 100%-owned companies as well as to employees of companies more than 50%-owned if approved by their governance bodies.
