Toyota opens pre-sales for the all-new Land Cruiser
London, 04 December 2023, (Oilandgaspress): – The First Edition is the pinnacle of the all-new Land Cruiser line-up, available only in limited numbers and exclusively to customers who reserve their vehicle online during the pre-sales period. It stands apart with bespoke styling with 18-inch wheels, classic round headlights, bi-tone Sand or Smoky Blue exterior paintwork and “First Edition” badges. In the cabin the front seats feature special upholstery piping and stitching.
Three versions available for pre-sales
All three versions – Prestige, Executive and First Edition – are available in the initial pre-sales period, in both five and seven seat configurations.
The Prestige and Executive versions share a powerful new exterior design that communicates the vehicle’s fundamental strength and capability with a clean and contemporary, form-follows-function look. The grades are visually differentiated by the Executive being fitted with alternative-design 20-inch alloy wheels in place of the Prestige’s 18-inch rims.
Powertrains
In Western Europe, the new Land Cruiser is powered by a 204 DIN hp/150 kW 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine matched to a new eight-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission, giving it the power to pull loads up to 3,500 kg. In 2025 an electrified 2.8-litre diesel powertrain with Hybrid 48V technology system will be introduced.
