US to ban Russian oil imports over Ukraine invasion

Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelensky has pleaded with U.S. and Western officials to cut off the imports.
Media reports that the ban will include Russian oil, liquefied natural gas and coal. The Presidents decision was made in consultation with European allies, who are also in the process of imposing similar sanctions on Russia.
