Vestas wins 63 MW order in South Africa
London, 29 December 2023, (Oilandgaspress): – Vestas has received a 63 MW order for a wind park in South Africa. The contract includes the supply and installation of 14 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreement.
Turbine delivery is expected by the first half of 2024 and commissioning is planned for the last quarter of the same year.
Vestas leads the South African wind power market with over 1.4 GW of capacity either installed or under construction.
