Willdan Named Program Implementer for New Data Center and Telecom Energy Efficiency in Snohomish County

ANAHEIM, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$WLDN–Willdan Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WLDN) announced today that it has been selected to implement the Snohomish County Public Utility District’s (SnoPUD) new energy efficiency program for telecommunications and data center facilities. The three-year program will engage data centers and telecommunications providers to evaluate mission-critical facilities for energy efficiency opportunities, apply for available utility incentives, and implement the resulting projects.

“This program will allow us to reach an important market in our territory and assist a substantial number of customers with energy conservation,” said Allison Grinczel, SnoPUD’s Senior Program Manager, Energy Services and Innovation. “This program not only benefits these targeted industries, but the resulting energy conservation also benefits all our customers.”
