China Built the World’s Largest Wind Turbine!

China’s Dongfang Electric has built and installed what is claimed to be the world’s largest offshore wind turbine, a 26 MW model. It has a rotor diameter of 310 meters and a hub height of 185 meters (equivalent to a 63-story building). The prototype is currently undergoing testing at a base in Dongying, Shandong province.
