(Oilandgaspress) -] The 2026 Audi A6 receives a host of comprehensive mid-model-year hardware and software-design updates designed to improve the driving and ownership experience. The new driver and customer-centric features closely mirror those previously announced for the 2026 A5/Q5 and 2027 A6/Q6 e-tron model families, and include an all-new MMI® design, an updated multifunction steering wheel, an optional contoured seat, new Audi drive select functionality, an optional integrated dashcam, expanded driver assistance features, upgraded voice control capabilities, and extended connectivity. Featuring extensive refinement and performance upgrades over the previous iteration, the 9th generation of the Audi A6 sedan was all-new for model-year 2026. Availability of mid-model-year 2026 Audi A6 sedans featuring these updates is expected in the second quarter of 2026, with a model-year starting MSRP that remains unchanged.

Beyond the extensive technology design enhancements and included Audi Signature Care scheduled maintenance, all A6 trims receive an updated multifunction steering wheel. The familiar scroll wheel returns, permitting operation of various functions and replacing the previous touch-sensitive interface. All trim levels of the Audi A6 also see the addition of remote engine start included as part of the Audi Connect CARE package.

The 2026 A6 Premium Plus trim sees the addition of the all-new Audi dashcam system (details below; optional on Premium trim), Bang & Olufsen® front headrest speakers, and the availability of the new MMI® passenger display, which was previously only available with the Prestige trim. The Prestige trim adds the Audi drive select assistant (details below), Park assist pro with remote functionality, Rear emergency brake assist, and the Top view camera system with 3D view. An optional Luxury package on the Prestige trim provides Nappa/Pearl Nappa leather individual contour front seats with massage function, and passenger seat memory.

The mid-model-year updates for the new 2026 Audi A6 bring additional features, improved performance, and like all model-year 2026 Audi models, Signature Care scheduled maintenance is included, increasing value. The 2026 Audi A6 sedan featuring these mid-model-year updates will be available at U.S. Audi retailers starting in the second quarter of 2026, and starting model-year 2026 MSRP is unchanged at $64,100.
