Experienced Private Equity Transformation Leader Expands Angeles’ Capabilities

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$manda #mergersandacquisitions—Angeles Equity Partners, LLC (“Angeles”), a private investment firm specializing in niche manufacturing, critical industrial services, and specialty distribution businesses, today announced Freddie Briggs as an operating principal at Angeles Operations Group. Briggs brings substantial experience within portfolio companies, driving strategy, transformation, and performance improvement.

Angeles focuses on revitalizing underperforming industrial businesses with a consistent approach to seek to achieve operational transformation and strategic repositioning. As an operating principal in Angeles’ affiliated operations group, Briggs will be responsible for the evaluation and due diligence of new investment opportunities, driving post-close transformation, and providing oversight across the Angeles portfolio investments.

Before joining Angeles Operations Group, Briggs held multiple executive leadership roles at private equity-backed businesses, most recently as Chief Transformation Officer at Ampure, an electric vehicle and industrial charging solutions provider. Prior to that, Freddie was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led numerous operational transformation engagements, primarily for industrial enterprises. Freddie started his career in the energy sector as an exploration geophysicist working in West Africa. He holds an M.Sci. in Geoscience from Imperial College London.
