Automobili Lamborghini’s exciting winter event

In January a convoy of Urus Performante, Urus S, Huracán STO and Huracán Tecnica paraded along the snowy roads between Denmark and Sweden, delighting onlookers in the fairy-tale setting. The activity wasn’t just focused on the roar of Lamborghini engines however: as often happens during Lamborghini events, driving is combined with unique experiences that remain etched in the memory of those who experience them. The event in Scandinavia made a stop in the evocative Tower of ‘The Plant’, a converted factory in which containers were built for years and then transformed into a paper mill. While able to take a look at the Huracán Sterrato[5], guests were intrigued by chef Mattia Risaliti explaining the similarities between culinary art and various aspects in which absolute excellence is expressed in all its forms, a synthesis of Lamborghini’s brand philosophy.

Snow-covered roads, picture-postcard landscapes and hospitality excellence were the key words at the event in Courchevel, a renowned ski resort in the French Alps. Once again, guests were able to enjoy a driving adventure on board the Urus S and Urus Performante, combined with culinary experiences from Michelin-starred chefs. Hospitality was via one of the world’s best resorts, the ultra-luxurious Le K2 Palace, part of “Le K2 Collections”, reflecting the luxury features that distinguish Automobili Lamborghini in the world of super sports cars. The Hotel K2 Palace is a truly bijou resort, consisting of a main building and adjoining lodges, framed by the mountains and perfectly integrated into the landscape. The hotel and the suite-chalets overlook one of the Trois Vallèes offering incredible panoramic views. Individually decorated with fine materials inspired by the Himalayas, the rooms combine charm and modern facilities. Situated in a privileged location, close to the centre of the Courchevel 1850 district, the property maintains a high level of privacy with direct access to the slopes.

After these experiences at the end of January, the Urus Performante, Huracán STO, Huracán Tecnica and Huracán Sterrato moved to Livigno for the Accademia Neve. The participants, supervised by Lamborghini instructors, were challenged on the icy track with the opportunity to learn how to perform spectacular drifts, before inspecting the new Huracán Sterrato on static display.

The Huracán Sterrato was the protagonist in two exclusive events that hosted 30 selected customers at two venues: Altiplano, one of the two restaurants of Le K2 Palace, and the spectacular Balthazar restaurant in St. Moritz. The clients lived a full Lamborghini experience, enjoying the new car alongside sophisticated Peruvian cuisine at Altiplano, and the cuisine of two Michelin-starred chef and Andalusian singer Paco Morales in his Balthazar restaurant.
