20 Jan Dacia reports volume growth in 2025
(Oilandgaspress) Dacia sold 697,408 vehicles in 2025, posting 3.1% growth compared with 2024. The year 2025 marks a historic milestone, with Dacia exceeding 10 million vehicles sold since 2004.
Across its sales perimeter, the brand’s performance confirms the relevance of its positioning based on best-in-class value for money. In Europe, Dacia recorded:
A record PC+LCV* market share of 4.0%, up 0.1 point vs. 2024. The brand retained its 10th position in the European rankings.
A record PC* market share of 4.5%, up slightly by 0.03 point vs. 2024, allowing Dacia to maintain 9th place in Europe.
In 2025, Dacia climbed to second place on the European podium for sales to retail customers, with a market share of 7.9%.
These results were driven by the five core models of the brand.
Sandero, with 289,295 units sold worldwide in 2025, is Europe’s best-selling passenger car across all channels for the second consecutive year, and has been the number one vehicle sold to private customers in Europe since 2017. Since its launch, over 3.5 million Sandero vehicles have been sold worldwide.

Duster, with 193,974 units sold worldwide in 2025, is the second best-selling SUV to retail customers in Europe. Since its launch in 2010, more than 2.8 million Duster vehicles are now on the road.
Bigster, with 67,573 units sold worldwide, is the best-selling C-SUV to retail customers in Europe in the second half of 2025.
Spring, with 35,034 units sold worldwide, recorded 53% growth compared with 2024 and is for the first time the best-selling electric vehicle in the A-segment in Europe across all channels.

Jogger recorded 73,695 units sold worldwide in 2025, placing it in the European Top 5 of the C-segment (excluding SUVs).
The attractiveness of the Dacia range is reflected in its ability to conquer new customers while retaining existing ones, demonstrating both product quality and the brand’s long-term vision. This momentum is confirmed by a 70% customer loyalty rate, illustrating the trust and satisfaction of Dacia customers. Loyalty is underpinned by high and improving customer satisfaction levels in 2025, both in sales and aftersales.
