GM unveils All Electric Hummer SUV
As the world’s first zero emissions, zero limits all-electric supertruck, the revolutionary HUMMER EV Pickup is engineered to conquer nearly any terrain.
Offering the latest version of Super Cruise†, HUMMER EV with driver-assistance technology for hands-free driving and automatic lane changing works on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads and growing. All HUMMER EV vehicles will include a 3-year subscription.
Edition 1 will offer a GM-estimated 0-60 mph in approximately 3 seconds in Watts to Freedom Mode. Information for other trims will be provided closer to start of production with GM-estimated up to 830hp and up to 11,500 lb-ft. of torque
It all starts with a towering ground clearance made possible by specially engineered 35″ Goodyear® Wrangler Territory tires for an optimal balance of on- and off-road performance. For those who demand more, HUMMER EV Pickup and SUV are engineered to fit aftermarket 37″ OD tires.†
Available UltraVision† – with up to eighteen camera views† on pickup and seventeen on SUV, including standard HD Surround Vision – includes waterproof underbody forward-and-rear-facing cameras for real-time views of the terrain to help you pick the best line along the trail. A washer function and replaceable lens protectors help you see clearly. Using multiple cameras to display a digital overhead image of the area around HUMMER EV, HD Surround Vision allows you to maneuver off-road and navigate tight spaces when traveling at low speeds.
The HUMMER EV has 300-mile range on single charge and is set to hit the road in early 2023, with pared-down models available starting later that year.
GM announced Monday that reservations for the top-line version have already sold out.
Edition 1 Retails for $105,595. It offers 830 horsepower, 82 cubic feet of storage and four-wheel steering with CrabWalk, which allows tit to move diagonally adjustments that ultimately improved asset economics.
