RWE participates in ScotWind bid
RWE has confirmed its participation in the ScotWind seabed leasing round process, as it looks to expand its global offshore wind portfolio. ScotWind is a seabed leasing round, managed by Crown Estate Scotland, which aims to enable up to 10 gigawatts (GW) of new offshore wind farms to be constructed in the country’s coastal waters.
RWE is considered a leading offshore wind partner, involved in the deployment of around 2.4 GW (pro rata) of operational offshore wind capacity, and is developing some of the world’s most advanced offshore wind farms, in support of government net zero ambitions.
