TotalEnergies rewards its electricity customers

To support its customers affected by the rise in energy prices on international markets and to encourage energy sobriety, TotalEnergies had launched the Conso Bonus to reward its private electricity customers and small professionals who save during winter 2022 – 2023 at least 5% of their consumption compared to the previous winter.

TotalEnergies is delighted that its customers have answered its call: during the winter of 2022-2023, more than 50% of our 2.4 million individual and professional customers eligible for the Conso Bonus reduced their consumption by more than 5%, the threshold for obtaining the bonus, and have saved an average of 15% in electricity compared to the previous winter. Thus, more than one million customers will receive an average bonus of €90, which will be deducted from their bill. By having reduced its consumption by 15%, a household consuming 5,000 KWh thus saved €100 on its bill and received a bonus of €90, i.e. a total of €190, and a household consuming 15,000 KWh €390.

These efforts have saved more than 380,000 megawatt hours (MWh), equivalent to the monthly electricity consumption of 860,000 inhabitants.

In addition, a bonus of €20 or €30 will be paid to our other customers, who are not eligible for the Conso Bonus, to thank them for their loyalty. TotalEnergies thus pays more than 100 million euros to its customers.
