02 Jun XPeng Group to participate in the 2026 World Intelligence Congress
London, (Oilandgaspress) The 2026 World Smart Industry Expo grandly opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianjin). Chen Min’er, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Wan Gang, Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, delivered a keynote speech. The expo, themed “Intelligent Mobility, Powerful Future,” is co-hosted by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. It showcases the latest achievements in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, and the low-altitude economy, aiming to create a benchmark event for the global smart industry.
The opening ceremony of this year’s Smart China Expo attracted over 1,200 Chinese and foreign dignitaries, experts, scholars, and industry elites. Representatives from 11 ministries and commissions, including the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, as well as over 60 central enterprises such as China Electronics, China Mobile, and China Unicom, and nearly 200 well-known domestic and international companies such as Lenovo, Geely, iFlytek, and Unitree Robotics, attended the event. More than 170 international guests from over 70 countries and regions, including the United Nations, the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, the China-EU Chamber of Commerce, the German Ministry of Economic Affairs, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE Ambassador to China, participated.
The expo featured a 130,000-square-meter exhibition area, including a comprehensive exhibition area and six themed exhibition areas: core technologies of artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, low-altitude economy and commercial aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, and smart living. A total of 741 companies and institutions participated, making it the largest expo to date.
