(Oilandgaspress) -–XPeng officially launched its first full-size flagship SUV with cutting-edge technology – the XPeng GX. Positioned as a flagship vehicle for the era of physical AI, the new car offers two powertrain options: pure electric and super-range extended-range, with a limited-time offer starting at RMB 269,800.
The new car is available in four configurations: Max, Ultra SE, Ultra, and Ultra Flagship. Specifically, the pure electric Max 665 2WD version is priced at RMB 269,800.
This new vehicle integrates multiple cutting-edge technologies from the XPeng Group, combining intelligent driving technology from Robotaxi, safety redundancy technology from flying cars, and intelligent chip and architecture technologies. XPeng GX boasts best-in-class overall quietness. The entire vehicle features 720-degree all-around acoustic enclosure, with all side windows covered in double-layered soundproof glass, even the small triangular windows are double-layered laminated glass. Combined with ENC+RNC AI intelligent noise reduction technology, it reduces interior noise energy by 50% at speeds up to 60km/h, making it easier for three rows of passengers to chat and listen to music comfortably.
Even more revolutionary is the XPeng GX’s industry-first aerospace-grade full-domain safety redundancy design. While the failure probability requirement for aircraft is 10 to the power of -9, for cars it’s 10 to the power of -5.
