XPeng receives highest MSCI ESG AAA rating among global automakers

(Oilandgaspress) -– XPeng Group released its ” 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report” (hereinafter referred to as the “ESG Report”), comprehensively showcasing its actions and achievements in the field of sustainable development over the past year. In 2025, XPeng Group not only upgraded its corporate mission to “becoming a globally beloved intelligent technology company,” but also put its sustainable development philosophy into practice with concrete actions, releasing its first carbon target plan covering short-term actions and long-term vision, achieving a carbon emission reduction of over 6 million tons for the year.

Building on this, the Group continues to deepen its research into cutting-edge technologies, achieving significant breakthroughs in the field of physical AI, and will realize mass production of three major physical AI applications—Robotaxi, humanoid robots, and flying cars—in 2026. Thanks to its outstanding practices in environmental, social, and governance fields, XPeng Group has been awarded the highest global rating of MSCI ESG AAA for three consecutive years, continuing to lead the global automotive industry.

XPeng continues its efforts to promote green travel for users and drive carbon reduction and climate governance across society. By improving and upgrading its charging network and charging technology, XPeng aims to provide users with a more convenient charging experience. By the end of 2025, XPeng operated over 3,150 self-owned charging stations and over 17,000 self-owned charging piles. In 10 core cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, over 86% of XPeng owners enjoy a “3-kilometer charging radius.” XPeng has also partnered with bp pulse to promote charging network interconnection, jointly providing wider coverage and a better charging experience in core urban areas.
